anurag Singh Thakur wins Hamipur seat by margin of 1.74 lakh votes
Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Bhartiya Janta Party candidate has been declared elected from Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency. He defeated Shri O.P. Rattan of Indian National Congress by the margin of 1,74,666 votes. This was disclosed by Smt. Manisha Nanda, Chief Electoral Officer here today.
She said that out of 5,85,433 total polled votes, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur of BJP received 3,74,339 votes, whereas Shri O.P. Rattan of INC received 1,99,673 votes.
Smt. Nanda said that Shri Rattan Chand Kaundal of Bahujan Shakti Party received 4937 votes, while independent candidate Shri Amin Chand received 6484 votes.
