Dhumal visits Sai Seva Sansthan at Pujarli

Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, visited the upcoming Sai Seva Sansthan at Pujarli near here late last evening to take stock of the project construction work being undertaken by the Sai Foundation.

Addressing the congregation assembled on the occasion Chief Minister appreciated the value based education system of the organization and said that it had been promoting the ancient educational culture when students used to stay and take education by staying with saints and sages. He said that it was a matter of great satisfaction that the organization had coupled the modern education with the traditional educational system when the moral values were given top priority. He said that India had been world leader in the ancient times and was so in the present day as well since the western culture had not been able to distort the values of Indian civilization, customs and traditions.

Prof. Dhumal said that the ayurveda system of medicine and yogic system of exercises was gaining popularity all over the world and people from every part of the world were visiting India in search of such unique systems. He said that the country had potential to promote health tourism with the help of ayurveda and yoga since both the systems were invented by the saints and sages ages before. He emphasized the need to also educate the young students of the school with yoga so that they could be mentally and physically strong enough to take on future responsibilities. He said that in the modern times Shri Sathya Sai Baba, Acharya Rajneesh, Baba Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar jee were the motivators towards the traditional cultural system of the country.

Chief Minister assured the management of the Foundation of all possible help from the state government side for completion of the upcoming complex so that devotional services and allied activities were carried conveniently.

Prof. Dhumal went around the complex to take stock of the progress of work and had detailed discussions with the office bearers.

Shri Suresh Bhardwaj, MLA, also lauded the contribution of the Foundation in giving boost to the devotional and educational activities in the town and hoped that the complex would come up as an impressive centre for devotional services.

Dr. Shyam Sunder, President of the Sansthan welcomed the Chief Minister and apprised him of the various activities and demands.

Shri J.S. Rana, Deputy Commissioner, Shri R.M. Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Shri J.R. Katwal, Director of Information and Public Relations were prominent among others present on the occasion.
