Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, today visited the IGMC to enquire about the health of the injured Himachal Pradesh University students and directed the hospital authorities to provide best treatment for speedy recovery of the students. He assured the students that best efforts would be made to maintain best law and order conditions in the educational institutions, especially in the universities besides maintaining academic atmosphere to help the students devote their time and energy for serious studies.
Chief Minister sought the cooperation of the students in maintenance of best studies environment in the university and extend their full cooperation to the university, law and order maintaining authorities. He said that educational institutions were the temples of learning and teachers and students needed to maintain good pupil teacher relationship which was in the best interest of the students. He said that in the age of competition excellence in the academics had emerged the necessity and students needed to be encouraged to study seriously and devote their maximum time for the same to ensure their bright future prospectus.
Prof. Dhumal also visited the other indoor patients admitted in the hospital and enquired about their health. He wished speedy recovery of the injured and other indoor patients from different parts of the state.
Shri Narender Bragta, Horticulture Minister, Shri J.R.Katwal, Director of Information and Public Relations, Dr. Surender Kashyap, Principal, IGMC and Dr. S.S.Minhas, Medical Superintendant of IGMC were accompanying the Chief Minister.
