Dhumal releases poetry book by 10th standard student

Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, today released the 'Blooming Bud' a poetry book authored by Ms. Priya, a 10th class student of Sacred Heart Convent School, Shimla, here today.

Congratulating the budding poetess Chief Minister appreciated the efforts made by her in compiling her observations and impressions over various subjects she came across during her school days and day to day life. He said that the child was talented and capable of writing quality literature in her future endeavours. He said that such creativeness amongst the children needed to be polished and encouraged so that they could make their mark in the field of literature and poetry as well. He said that there was no dearth of talented people in Himachal Pradesh and the same required to be identified and polished at the very adolescent age so that with maturation the children could also emerge as leaders in writers as well.

Shri B.K.Aggarwal, Secretary Language and Culture, Shri J.R.Katwal, Director of Information and Public Relations, Dr. Prem Sharma, Director of Language and Culture and Shri Sriniwas Joshi, a retired IAS officer, were prominent among others present on the occasion.
